John Sirois, a New England resident, has been painting for 20 years. John paints on location, as he is better able to capture the color, light and energy of a landscape when out of doors. John has become a familiar sight on the roadsides and sidewalks of many New England towns, but has also painted in Boston, New York City, and various locations in Europe.
Having studied and painted for many years with noted artist Sid Willis as well as with Don Stone, Lois Griffel and Charles Sovek, John has a diverse artistic background.
John's work has been shown at The Salmagundi Club in New York as well as The American Artist Professional League, The Audubon Artists, and The Currier Museum in Manchester, NH.
Current Memberships include: The New Hampshire Art Association, The Southern Vermont Art Association, and The Left Bank Artists of the Monadnock Area.
